another interesting fact...

William Henry Harrison, president a long time ago who before elected in 1840 won a very long and hard fought battle against indians. Ever since then a curse has seemed to be put on the presidents elected in a zero year (I.E. 1840, 1860) saying that they will die in office.

1840 (W Harrison - natural causes)
1860 (Lincoln - shot)
1880 (Garfield - shot)
1900 (McKinley - shot)
1920 (Harding - natural causes)
1940 (F Roosevelt - natural causes)
1960 (Kennedy - shot)

In 1980 President Ronald Reagan was elected. During his term in office, there was a failed attempt to assasinate him, he was shot, but he survived. They say that Reagan broke the curse... or did he?
President George Walker Bush was elected in the most recent zero year, the election of 2000 and his approval rating is dropping very rapidly. Who knows?
